a giant diorama van getting 10 miles per gallon promoting an insurance
company Web site. The display asked: What matters to you most? Good
question somewhat answered."

 

Richard Halsey, director of the California Chaparral Institute recently
took a tour of about 40 people to Lake Hodges, explaining the
phenmenon of wild flowers blooming in the wke of last year's wild
fires.
